Founded in 2017, O&G Alliance unites eleven Italian companies across Ravenna, Modena and Piacenza into a single EPCI supply chain.

THE ALLIANCE

One consortium, forty years of industrial practice

O&G Alliance was founded in 2017 to solve a problem its member companies kept

meeting from opposite sides of the same project: EPC contractors wanted integrated

packages, while the specialist workshops able to build them were contracting

separately, each for its own scope.

The consortium brings eleven Italian companies into a single supply chain across

Ravenna, Modena and Piacenza. Each is an established manufacturer or engineering

house in its own right, several with four decades of continuous work in oil and gas.

What the Alliance adds is integration: one contract, one interface, one party

accountable for the delivered package.

Why a Consortium

A process package rarely belongs to one discipline. A skid needs structural steel,

piping, pressure equipment, electrical and instrumentation, and often HVAC. Sourced

separately, each interface between those scopes becomes a commercial boundary — and

every commercial boundary is a place where schedule and responsibility can be lost.

Inside the Alliance those interfaces are internal. The client signs one contract and

receives one package, tested and ready for the installation site.

EXPERTISE, APPROVALS AND STANDARDS

What we cover

Members of the Alliance hold Saipem supplier approval for skids and plants, piping

and carpentry, and engineering scopes. Pressure equipment is designed and

manufactured to the PED Directive or ASME Code (only for pressure vessels).

Engineering

Process, civil and structural, piping, thermomechanical, fire and

safety, electrical and instrumentation, automation, ATEX classification, laser scan

surveys.

Construction

Prefabrication and assembly of packaged units, welding in carbon

steel, stainless, Inconel, alloy, superduplex and aluminium, structural frames,

pressure equipment.

Commissioning, installation, start-up

On-site assembly, testing and

verification, preventive and corrective maintenance.
